Cash Back

Part B Cash Back is a great benefit for seniors.

A Part B Premium Giveback is the Health Care carrier’s coverage of a designated portion of an enrollee’s Part B premium. The carrier notifies the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Social Security Administration of this agreement to take on the cost of the specified amount. The Part B Giveback is credited monthly on the beneficiaries’ Social Security check

This incentive is found within select Medicare Advantage (MA) plans, though, it is important to note, the Part B Giveback can be restricted to specific states and counties. It’s important to check the service area of the MA plans featuring this incentive to make sure your plans with this benefit are available to your client(s). Check with your Trusted Medicare Advisor to see if there is a plan available in your area.

Meals

Meal Delivery Post Hospital Discharge Proves to be Beneficial.

After a hospitalization, the hospital will send the patient home with medication instructions, exercise instructions, and of course, nutrition instructions.  But many seniors go home to an empty house with minimal help.  It is no surprise that proper nutrition can be lacking.  Without a hospital discharge meals plan in place for the patient, healing may take longer than expected.  Worse, the patient can wind up back in the hospital in a weakened state due to a lack of proper nutrition, that is why a Post Meal delivery benefit may prove truly beneficial to seniors.
